While doing our daily (but fun) task of visiting food blogs and web sites, we happened upon friend to Honey Ridge Farms and food blogger, Julia M.’s recipe for homemade ricotta. We could stop right here and give you the link- knowing the words “homemade” and “ricotta” alone would entice most, if not all foodies. However, we would like to elaborate on the yummy-ness that is this recipe.

Julia has posted about our Honey Cremes before, and although this has less to do with Honey Creme (which Julia drizzles over the ricotta- OMG!) and more to do with an amazing cheese recipe, we feel it is our duty to share this gem with our followers and friends.

We couldn’t think of a better way to satisfy the cravings stemming from our New Year’s resolution to work out more! We all know that everything is better in moderation- well almost everything (some things are better in excess- you’ll see what we mean). This recipe for Fruit Cheesecake with Blackberry Honey Creme will leave you wanting more! Don’t worry, it has fresh fruit on it, so it can’t be all that bad. Right?

Woo-hoo! Dessert and a giveaway. Have we died and gone to Honey Heaven- you betcha! Chef Cheryl Lee of the blog, Black Girl Chef’s Whites shares this simply gorgeous Lemon Curd and Honey Creme Napoleon recipe made using both the Lemon and Raspberry Honey Cremes! We should let you know that Cheryl did have to go to some semi- drastic measures to bring you this recipe, including cutting her 4 year old off after she was caught spooning Raspberry Honey Creme into her mouth! We really wish we had a picture of this Cheryl!

Cheese Cups, Parmesan Sticks & “Salabat”,Filipino Ginger Tea

We shared this recipe with our Facebook and Twitter followers last week and it’s so great- we decided to share it again! Another big thank you to blogger Elizabeth Ann Quirino and her blog, TheQueen’sNotebook.com for coming up with yet another delectable design using our Honey Cremes. Elizabeth used our Clover Honey Creme in all three creations. Her Cheese Cups are filled with a sharp and spicy pimento spread- and the flavors are nicely balanced out with the Honey Creme.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth’s Parmesan sticks are so easy to make- there is NO excuse not to try them out. Only 2 ingredients (3 including the Clover Honey Creme) are needed to yield a batch of these truly delicious, slightly decadent and definitely savory pastry treats.

Lastly, Elizabeth shows us how to make a traditional Filipino ginger tea called Salabat. Salabat can be used to treat sore throats and colds. Great to have on hand during the sometimes brutal winter season.

Winter mornings can be harsh and getting out of a nice warm bed or hot shower can prove difficult. Well, your lucky to have stopped here because we just found a way to make it a little more worthwhile. This absolutely amazing stuffed pancake recipe was shared with us by our blogger friend Emme Ribeiro ,www.FoodSamba.com

The flavors of the orange and cranberry complement each other nicely, and the fluffy pancake serves as an excellent tool for sponging up all the yummy honey goodness! The warm maple syrup just tops it off!
