Fresh Homemade Ricotta – YUM

While doing our daily (but fun) task of visiting food blogs and web sites, we happened upon friend to Honey Ridge Farms and food blogger, Julia M.’s recipe for homemade ricotta. We could stop right here and give you the link- knowing the words “homemade” and “ricotta”  alone would entice most, if not all foodies. However, we would like to elaborate on the yummy-ness that is this recipe.

Julia has posted about our Honey Cremes before, and although this has less to do with Honey Creme (which Julia drizzles over the ricotta- OMG!)  and more to do with an amazing cheese recipe, we feel it is our duty to share this gem with our followers and friends. 

 

She even has some great ideas for what to do with the leftover whey- that Julia thinks of EVERYTHING! Bon apetit and thanks to you Julia!
